POWER VALKASEAL S-10 60 pcs/box
Vulcanizing strings are designed for emergency repair of punctures in the tread area of a tire. The repair is carried out from the outside, without the need to remove the tire. It is important to remember that a tire repaired this way should be taken to a vulcanizing service and properly repaired by a professional.
Traditional puncture repair materials fall into two categories: adhesive and vulcanizing. Both technologies have their pros and cons.
Power Valkaseal is the only product that combines the advantages of both methods while eliminating their disadvantages, making it an excellent solution for tire repair. The string is coated with raw rubber, allowing it to be used without vulcanizing cement – the act of inserting it into the puncture initiates the vulcanization process. However, applying vulcanizing cement additionally enhances the bonding and is recommended for high-speed or heavy-load applications.
Power Valkaseal strings offer:
-
Quick and easy tire puncture repair
-
Reinforced with nylon fibers and coated in raw rubber
-
Best used with Super Valkarn G vulcanizing cement
-
Universal application – suitable for tube-type and tubeless, radial and bias-ply tires
-
A shape that conforms perfectly to the puncture after insertion
-
Extremely easy application, even by drivers as a temporary roadside fix until a proper repair is done
-
Sharply cut ends for easier insertion into the eye of the insertion tool
How to repair a tire using Maruni Valkaseal strings:
-
Use pliers to remove the foreign object from the tire, then mark the damaged area with chalk.
-
Thoroughly coat the reamer with Super Valkarn vulcanizing cement.
-
Insert the reamer into the puncture and rotate clockwise to smooth the edges. Repeat 2–3 times. Remove the reamer while turning it clockwise.
-
Remove the protective film from the string.
-
Thread the string through the eye of the insertion tool.
-
Apply Super Valkarn vulcanizing cement to the string.
-
Push the string straight into the puncture hole without twisting.
-
Fully insert the tool.
-
Pull the insertion tool out without twisting.
-
Cut off the excess string, leaving about 2–3 mm sticking out. The repair is now complete.
