Vulcanizing Strings for Emergency Tire Tread Repair – Power Valkaseal

Vulcanizing strings are intended for fast, temporary repair of punctures in the tire tread without the need to remove the tire. The repair is performed from the outside of the tire, significantly simplifying and accelerating the process. However, it is important to remember that a tire repaired this way should be brought to a professional tire service as soon as possible for a proper, permanent repair.

Traditional puncture repair methods rely on two main technologies: adhesive-based and vulcanizing. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. Power Valkaseal is the only product that combines the advantages of both methods while eliminating their limitations, making it an ideal tire repair solution.

Power Valkaseal strings are coated with raw rubber, allowing them to be used without vulcanizing cement. Simply inserting the string into the puncture initiates the vulcanization process. However, to improve the strength of the bond — especially for tires used at high speeds or under heavy loads — the additional use of Super Valkarn vulcanizing cement is recommended.

Power Valkaseal strings have broad applicability, enabling quick and easy repairs. Reinforced with nylon fibers and coated with raw rubber, they are ideal for tube-type, tubeless, radial, and bias-ply tires. Once inserted into the puncture, the string conforms to the shape of the damage, ensuring an effective seal.

Thanks to their easy application, Power Valkaseal strings can be used by drivers for emergency repairs, allowing safe travel to a service center. The string ends are cut at an angle, making it easier to insert them into the eye of the insertion tool, ensuring fast and efficient repairs.
