WHAT IS SPEEDLINER TECHNOLOGY?

SPEEDLINER technology used in adhesive wheel weights is an innovative perforated tape that simplifies both application and removal. Thanks to its perforation, individual segments can be easily separated without the use of tools. SPEEDLINER tape is a great advantage in workshop environments, primarily because it leaves no tape or adhesive residue on the rim when the weight is later removed.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF SPEEDLINER?

RESIDUE-FREE REMOVAL
A special reinforcement film with exceptional tear resistance ensures strong adhesion across the adhesive strip. Thanks to the durable bonding structure, removing the weight strip is significantly easier: any foam residue sticks to the reinforcement film, enabling the weight to be removed without leaving any marks.
The SPEEDLINER adhesive strip not only eliminates foam residue on rims, but also removes the need for time-consuming cleaning using scrapers or aggressive, toxic chemicals. This saves technicians time and money – and vehicle owners will appreciate this rim-friendly solution.

HIGHER INITIAL ADHESION
The adhesive has been specially optimized according to HOFMANN POWER WEIGHT specifications and not only offers higher initial tack but also reaches its maximum final bonding strength more quickly than previous products.
This means the weight stays securely in place, even on rims that were not cleaned to perfection beforehand. Thanks to the innovative bonding structure, it’s still possible to immediately reposition the weight if needed, eliminating costly and time-consuming rework – resulting in greater customer satisfaction and fewer complaints.

CLEAN EDGES
The optimized SPEEDLINER foam can now be torn even more easily than before and leaves a clean edge when separating individual segments. Combined with the mesh technology used in HOFMANN POWER WEIGHT adhesive weights and perforated foam, this feature greatly simplifies installation.
It also reduces waste, as it prevents damage to the foam when separating segments.

EASY FILM REMOVAL
A stronger material has been used to create the new protective film (known as the liner). This makes it easier to grip and remove, speeding up the process and making it simpler for the technician.
