The clamp is designed for clamping the rim of truck and bus tyres.
The manual clamp, known as the "third hand", is particularly useful when fitting a truck tyre where it is difficult to fit the tyre on the rim (slips off the rim flange).
Its function is to prevent the partially mounted tyre from sliding off when the rest of the tyre circumference is seated on the rim.
They are fitted with a screw-on piston for height adjustment and edge tensioning. A spring facilitates height adjustment.
It is made of durable metal alloy.
