An innovative device designed to correct uneven tread and sidewall wear, restoring optimal driving performance, reducing rolling resistance, and maximizing safety. In many cases, the use of the tyre trimmer restores the usability of a tyre that may otherwise appear unfit for use.
The wheel is mounted on a shaft – similar to most balancers – and set into rapid rotation. The user then guides a counter-rotating grinding wheel using an innovative system of mechanical gears that ensures precise operation. The grinding module is enclosed in a transparent protective cover that shields the user from rubber dust generated during the process. The opposite rotation of the tyre and grinding wheel provides high relative speed at the point of contact, enabling efficient and precise material removal. Dust is immediately extracted by a pneumatic vacuum system.
The standard equipment includes 3 cones and a quick-locking hub.
The trimmer also supports light truck wheels (optional BUS cone available).
